1 jar Clean Plate Pantry Shakshuka Sauce

6 eggs

Parsley or cilantro for garnish (if desired)

Feta for garnish (if desired)

Directions:

In a large skillet over medium heat, bring 1 jar Clean Plate Pantry Shakshuka Sauce to a simmer. Using a large spoon, make a well near the side of the pan and break one egg into the well. Spoon some of the sauce over the edges of the whites so the egg doesn’t move around too much. Repeat with the remaining eggs. Season eggs with some salt, cover, and reduce heat to low. Cook the eggs until the whites are set and yolk are runny, or to your desired level. Garnish as desired. Serve with crusty bread.

Other optional inclusions into the sauce: beans (chickpeas or favas would be great), Spanish-style chorizo (cured, not fresh), greens (kale, spinach, chard, etc.), cubed tofu (in place of eggs if vegan), or just about any vegetable you have on hand.
