“Sausage Pizza” Bread Pudding

3 cups French bread, cubed into ½” cubes

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1 lb. Italian sausage

2 jars Clean Plate Pantry Pizza Sauce

6 large eggs

1 ½ cups whole milk

½ tsp. salt

½ tsp. pepper

½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350˚F. In a large bowl, combine bread cubes and shredded cheese. In a skillet, brown the sausage until thoroughly cooked. Add sausage to bowl. Add Pizza Sauce to bowl. In a smaller bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until completely combined. Pour custard into large bowl and fold all ingredients together.  Pour into a greased 13 x 9” baking dish and top with parmesan cheese. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
